Dan Bloom, JD, LCSW has been a gestalt therapist, trainer, writer, and supervisor since the 1980’s. He trained with Laura Perls, Isadore From, and Richard Kitzler in NYC. Dan is a fellow and current president of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy as well as a former president of the International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. He is a member and accredited supervisor of EAGT. Dan is adjunct faculty at many gestalt institutes throughout the world, does workshops and presentations internationally. He is an associate editor of the Gestalt Review. Dan’s writings have been translated into 7 languages and published widely.
