Migration: I – Them – We and Integrity – speaker: Graham Colbourne
In this lecture I will reflect on the global, social and environmental context of migration. Humans and other species have continuously evolved, adapted and developed as our environment changes, with its risks and opportunities for life and security.
I will map the relevant field factors and implications for our work and our world. I will refer to group and intergroup, national and international dynamics and challenges.
A key aspect will be to understand identification and alienation, difference, fear, hate and hope in the context of these challenges and in forming our responses.
